How did you decide upon your line of work:
When the opportunity existed to fill the vacancy for the Computer Crime Investigator (in the State Police), it was only a part-time position. At that time, I was a full time Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Specialist. I thought that it would be a challenge to not only juggle responsibilities for both positions, but jump into something I knew very little about, as I was not in the ‘Computer World’ and knew nothing about DOS, Windows Operating Systems, networking etc. I enjoyed using the computer and software applications and most of what I did was self-taught. I created templates for most of the forms and paperwork that was being used by the Pennsylvania State Police to make my job easier.

When I first started Computer Crimes Investigations, I received only one or two cases per month, which did not take much time. A few years later, it was a struggle to do both jobs efficiently and I had to make a choice between the two. I realized that there was not much more training I could receive involving collision reconstructions, but there was so much more training and possibilities involved with computer crime. It was then that I chose this field exclusively.

Hobbies/outside interests/passion:
My foremost passion is hunting deer. I not only enjoy the fall/wintertime in PA to hunt but I also travel to Wyoming as often as I can.

Hunting is closely followed by trips to the ocean. It is so peaceful to sit on the sand or chair, close your eyes, and listen to the waves crashing on the shore.

What would you hope people would say about you:
That I am the type of person that would do anything for you. That I was honest and full of integrity.
